Winter Tasting Experiences & Valentine's Events Sneak Peek

Winter is a fabulous time to visit California wine country.  You'll be dazzled by all the experiences available, such as the Trinchero Signature Fire Pit Experience where you can wrap yourself in luxurious soft blankets and sip through a decadent flight of Cabernet, start the day off with Clif Family's Rise & Wine Breakfast Tasting, or the incredible The Ruby Fox Tasting at Bennett Lane winery.

While late January - February tend to be the region's rainy season, there is no reason to fret.  Winter storms create some of the most breathtaking light as the sunshine breaks through the clouds revealing vibrant rainbows that cascade into vineyards full of golden mustard galore. Cade Estate is perched above valley below and is a great place to take in the view.  If you are feeling adventurous, make time to explore Linda Falls which is just  few minutes away from Cade Estate. Bring your cutest rainboots and be ready for some stunning photo opportunities.  

A visit to Napa Valley would not be complete without a day of relaxation at one of Calistoga's famed hot springs.  The geothermic waters that bubble up and heat the mud baths that are so popular just feel so lovely on a cool winter day.  After your treatment, you can spend the day soaking in hot pools while the steam billows up to the sky. Order a picnic basket from Sam's General Store and bring a bottle or two of wine to enjoy poolside. Pro tip: Heat therapies can intensify the effects of alcohol. Stay hydrated with drinking plenty of water,  imbibe moderately, and take plenty of cool off breaks.
